@baffledbasti @sarah_edo I'm personally not a fan of makefiles, as I find them very awkward and unintuitive. However, they are actually a real build system, and a valid solution here. I'm a big fan of @bazelbuild and #rules_nodejs. @turborepo also seems to be on the right track here.
