            1. My partner and I found a new cat yesterday on our daily walks. There are lots of ferals around here, but this one was new. He was sooooo friendly but wouldn't eat any kibbles like most strays. We wondered if we was a lost house cat and got his microchip scanned. His name is Sam.

            Turns out he does have an owner and we're trying to get in contact to get him home. He's still so friendly, letting us pet him and play with him. Hopefully we can get him home soon.

        Turns out, his owner passed away and their family didn't want to keep him. Poor Sam ended up on the street all alone. We dropped him off at a shelter in San Jose. If you're looking for a super-friendly cat who will love you as much as you'll love him, reach out to the shelter!
