Wait, what? #Safari will delete all browser storage, including LocalStorage and IndexedDb, if the site is not visited within 7 days? I must be hallucinating. I'm so confused after reading this. There seems to be an exception for web apps added to home screen, but will it delete first-party data when *not* on the home screen? How does the browser distinguish 1P and 3P data in IDB? How many users even know A2HS exists?Permalink On twitter.com
