    @tomayac Not sure I understand. DevTools has a setting for the theme separate from system defaults. Why could that not modify prefers-color-scheme? If the concern is that "DevTools prefs may vary from OS", the spec seems to allow user-agents to be flexible. drafts.csswg.org/mediaqueries-5/#descdef-media-prefers-color-scheme
